After you find a person in one of the above databases, you can get the complete information about that person by having our Society look up the information for you. This lookup service is free to our members, who may send an email to our Librarian at <chgogs(at)comcast.net>. Please put Library Lookup in the subject line of the email. List your membership number and specify the name(s) to be looked up, the event, the year, and the page number.
This lookup service is also available to non-members. There is a $5.00 fee for every 3 lookups. Send your check payable to: Chicago Genealogical Society, Attn: Librarian, PO Box 1160, Chicago IL 60690-1160. Specify the name(s) to be looked up, the event, the year, and the page number. Also, specify if you want the response sent by email or snail mail.
NOTE: Do not waste our time or yours! Submit a request ONLY for a person that is in these indexes -- all other requests will not be answered.

When you find a surname that you are interested in, click on the respective e-mail address to contact the CGS member directly. If the CGS member does not have an e-mail address, send a letter and an unaddressed stamped envelope to CGS and we will forward the letter to the member.
