PAST QUARTERLIES

Our quarterly, the Chicago Genealogist, is now available digitally. The Newberry Library partnered with the Chicago Genealogical Society to provide full-text searchable PDFs of volumes 1-39 (1969-2007). This digital collection allows the researcher to search by keyword--a surname, church or school name, Chicago neighborhood, etc., in a way not possible previously. This cooperative effort is accessible through the CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois) Digital Collections site, where it is one of several collections of interest to genealogists.

Also, many past issues of the Chicago Genealogist are still available in print form. Use this form for ordering and to see what is available. See the list of contents of all past issues.

Here is the pricing schedule, which is effective 6 September 2008.

from 1 to 5 quarterlies, the price is $7.00	from 6 to 10 quarterlies, the price is $14.00
from 11 to 15 quarterlies, the price is $21.00	from 16 to 20 quarterlies, the price is $28.00
from 21 to 25 quarterlies, the price is $35.00	from 26 to 30 quarterlies, the price is $42.00
from 31 to 35 quarterlies, the price is $49.00	from 36 to 40 quarterlies, the price is $56.00
from 41 to 45 quarterlies, the price is $63.00	from 46 to 50 quarterlies, the price is $70.00
from 51 to 55 quarterlies, the price is $77.00	from 56 to 60 quarterlies, the price is $84.00

i.e. if you order one quarterly, the price is $7.00; if you order 4 quarterlies, the price is $7.00.
Prices include postage and handling. Exception: orders outside the continental U.S. will be billed for additional postage.

Member’s discount is not permitted on quarterlies.
